hello people. just finished my period zeros last week. if you're wondering what period zeros are, then let me tell you :D you know how you have first period, second period, blah blah blah. then period zero is when you come to school early to take a test, which counts for quite a lot of percent for the semester. well, had 4 of the tests- chemistry, physics, maths, maths specialist. anyways did quite well for them and i hope i can go as well for the next tests.

also i had my FIRST BUBBLE TEA IN AUSTRALIA. i tell you, it's very expensive. i had peach bubble tea + sago. anyways, thanks for the bubble tea daniel!! i tell you. the peach tea was like $3.50 and i had to add the sago,additional 50 cents, so it's $4 for the whole thing. and the peach tea is just liquid and almost half is ice. anyways, all the best for your tests and other things :D bye.

hi to all once again. continuing from the december post. just went out today with the twins (jean & jane) from my church over in australia. went to plaza sing to watch bedtime stories while the rest were still in school. hahahaha. except those jc/poly and sec 4 people. so i went out with jean & jane watched bedtime stories after having our lunch. went to take neos at dhoby ghout x-change arcade there. quite cheap. the cheapest working one there was $4. which had no chair but was pretty cool. and the $5 one had a chair but it was really cramped. so the twins decided to get the $7 one. i don't mind cause in australia, it's expensive? and my parents won't allow me to go there and my friends' parents also don't allow them to go there. so ya. then after that we went to meet lynn (twins' sister) and thier mum to go to this fashion to buy clothes. choose a dress which actual cost was $31 but there was no discount and it was loose. so i didn't buy anything there in the end. then we went home and said our goodbyes in the train as we took the same train. xD the end.

hey people. now i'm currently in singapore for my summer break :D and here's wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and remember to this is a brand new year. so "you're own you're own, BE on you're own" quoted from grey's anatomy season 4 episode 15. go watch it, very iteresting. and if you have a problem "you're not going to fix anything in one day, but you can keep trying". so remember to just keep trying and trying till you get to you destination.
anyways, updates on my holiday... or maybe the whole of decemeber. ok. left australia on the 20 dec and arrived in singapore on the 21 dec. which i must say was really hot and sweaty for me at that time. thank God someone came and took us back home. then came the christmas period. when i went to church on the 21, everyone was like 'hey jeannette, you're back, when did you come back...' all those. like they were all suprised. and when i told them when i was leaving they were all like dissapointed. like they couldn't stand the sight of me for a month (except some and you know who you are)
then came the 24 dec. went out with some of my best buddies from crescent: regina, jouteng, tracy, cheryl, limin. went to tiong bahru to eat steamboat lunch then to this place called 'settlers' cafe' (somewhere at holland) where we went to play board/card games. lots of fun there. and from there i went to my church friend house to countdown to christmas :D cool as hell. we webcammed my parents, still in australia, andthen they drank like a lot of wine. cause everyone was like toasting, trying to make them get drunk...
haha. then came 31 dec. whoa. i went out with my crescent buddies again. but this time, more people: regina, jouteng, tracy, cheryl, cheryl's friend, keziah, jiayi, peiling, abigail, mingxuan. we went to cineleisure to watch twilight in the morning then went to suntec for shopping and arcade. had lots of fun. then i was supposed to go bowling after that but decided that i wanted to hang out with my crescent friends cause i don't see them much. and then, 5 o'clock came and my phone started ringing. people calling me whether i was going bowling or not... haha. that was the most memorable part of my day. then went to church for service and went to a church friend's house for countdown. so fun that we even went to the playground and met some ahbengs there playing football :D then my sister and i went home. the end.

hihi everyone. and peiling, i think i'm still shorter than you...still the same height :( anyways, just had my dinner dance last friday. so fun. i'm wearing the pink dress. it started about 7.15 cause everyone was standing outside the place talking and taking photos. and then we had dinner! there was beef, fried rice (italian style), ham, meet thing, wedges, potatoes, lasagna, fish (fish and chips style), chicken and salad. soo nice. too bad i forgotten to take a photo of my plate. it was one of the largest one on my table. also my table was number 6 if you wanted to know. :D then about 8.30 the dance floor officially opened. so cool. sweat until i had to take off my half jumper... and then my belt was also sweaty. haha. ya. and i danced in heels all the way home. hehe. was soo cool. ya. i uploaded some of my photos on facebook. so if you want to see my dress. go to facebook!

muahahaha everyone. :D went to auntie eng leng's house today. cause all our parents went out. and she didn't want to go to the women's thing. so we all went to her house. kids who went: me (duh), megan, cheyenne, jedidiah (pastor's kid), charis, colin, caelen. and of course auntie eng leng's children: see wai and hui wen. went there in the morning about 8.30 am. had to wake up way early. even earlier than the normal time i wake up to go to school. and then the children watched tv until 10am and then they started playing computer and their ds until lunch. then after that play somemore computer and board games... THEN, we went to the park. actually. not the park. we went to the school's playground. and then the security guard came!! waaa. but nothing happened. he just told jedidiah that don't play ball near the window and soo. aiya. anyways. went back to the house about 6pm then megan and i took lots of photos. haha. she told me to copy her. cause she has all the actresses poses. hah. so i just copied her. and now my profile pic is one of them. haha. but that one is the not so lame ones. ;D

term 4

wahaha. hi everyone. :D today is monday and tomorrow is officially the start of school term 4... which is horrifying. cause in week 4 is exams and i need to study hard cause i want to get into the subjects i chose. so :( anyways. my family and i went to this orange farm with lots of other church families. about 50+ people went. it was soo fun. ate lamd and beef there for lunch and then went for a orange farm tour. so one tractor could only sit about 25 people. and i went on the third one. which is the last one. hehe. and so the journey begun... not. and almost at the end of the tour 3 people fell out of the tractor cause there weren't any handles or any safety thing on the side. so the fell cause number one: the tractor was turning. and number two: cause there was a hump or something. then after that we talked for a while (10 min) and then we went home. it's about 1 hour drive from perth. slept the whole way back to church cause i'm fetching someone and then we went home. :D

hello everyone. this is officially the third day of holidays. went to araluen on monday. it is something like botanic gardens. suppossed to be a tulip garden and flowers. but most of them starting to close their flowers. but still got a chance to take some amazing pictures. :D hope you like them. then on tuesday, my friends and i went to perth iga royal show. something like a funfair. i set on this $10 ride. it goes up then it turns 360 degrees. and there was only 6 people sitting the ride when it was my turn cause it was still quite early when we went. it can actually sit 24 people. then we played some other games and bought showbags. i bought the cleo and women's weekly one, spending about $26 on it. we were actually suppossed to stay until about 4 in the afternoon. but we were so tired of walking we decided to go back to my friend's house at about 1.30. haha. we went at about 9.30 in the morning if you wanted to know. :D

hello eveyone. haha. today is saturday and guess what? my parents are not at home :) for the most of the day. they are now out and will come back about noon. then about 5 they will go out again till dinner time. so i can do whatever i want. haha. but actually, when they are here, i can do whatever i want, so it's no big of a deal whether there're here or not. hehe. now i'm also watching this cool show. about some magic show. something like a movie. it's so cool. it's like raining almost every day this week. can't believe that it is actually spring. ha. anyways. have to take a look at the clothes outside every now and then. cause it might rain. so got to go. bye bye. xD

hello everyone. :D winter is finally over and today is the first day of spring. hehe. so happy. actually i wanted to bring my camera to school to take photos cause first day of spring. but i was in a rush and forgetten. xD anyways. even though it is already spring. it's still freezing. as in less then 20 degrees. haha. i started working as a catalouge walker. like newspaper boy but it's catalouges. like shopping discounts all those. quite tiring. cause need to fold the catalouges too. hehe. and i ask my friend to do with me. like once a week only. so we split the money 50-50. so last week we got 38 dollars each. quite worth it cause it's like 5hours each. so if you work it out, it's about $7 per hour. :D but it is very tiring. haha. i think i'm going to quit soon. find a better job. haha. anyways. i'll remember to bring the camera to school tomorrow and take some photos and post. can? haha. just got regina's letter today and i forgotten all about cheryl's letter. CHERYL. I'M SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR LETTER!! PAISEH. haha. i'll write by this week and send out all the replies :D

hello everyone. sorry so late then i post. went to habourtown (big shopping centre) with classmates on 9 August 08 ;D bought this nice bag. brown in colour. but don't know why some people say that it is kind of old fashioned. haha. anyways. it was really fun and we took lots of pictures.

then last saturday, 16 august, went to help out at this YWAM househelp thing. which if you wanted to know, it is some christian outreach to households with problems. so we went to clean thier house. i went with 3 other ladies. 1 my age, 1 from uni and 1 from the YWAM. then we somehow got lost on the way there. haha. cause i think the YWAM lady don't know how to read map and did not tell my friend to turn somewhere. so reached there quite late. like 30-45 minutes after departing and we only cleaned for less than an hour. and i cleaned the wall. very dirty. but still. must help those in need and spread the gospel to them. :D

then today had this maths test. sucked so badly for my standards. cause i had careless mistakes. so...can't get full marks :( so sad. and somemore i started having flu and cough. i think i might cough until my voicxe sound like boy again. like before i came to australia. also. today we had sports (pe). and i ran 800m. so far i've run 200m, 400m and this 12 minute run. but it's quite slow compared to my personal best. but my dad said that as it was on grass, you do not have as much of a grip as on the track. so you might be slower. so let me tell you my lousy timings.
200m- 34 sec
400m- 1 min 21 sec (lousy)
800m- 3 min 19 sec (lousy)
12 min run- about 6.5 rounds (1 round only 340m)

anyways. going shopping at habourtown on saturday. finally some decent shopping with friends. the last time i went out with my friend was going to watch a movie. and then after that went shopping for a little while. then 30 august going with the same friends and more. hehe. going to waste a lot of money. if i bring a lot. xD

hello everyone. haha. week 2 of term 3 has just ended and it feels like the year is just going to pass like that again. it feels like time is just flying really fast.

anyways. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL. saw like lots of people put on thier posts that is was your birthday. so i'll put on mine too. xD sorry can't remember your birthday. cause my handphone spoilt and then all your birthdays inside. so the moral of this story is that you can never rely on technology. cause there can always be something wrong about it. :D

just went shopping (grocery) with my dad. and bought lots of food. now i'm trying out this muesli bar to bring to school and eat. cause the food in the canteen is very expensive compared to singapore's school food. so i have tomake sandwiches everyday for myself. it's always the same. except for one day this week where i brought nuggets and chips. but it turned out very hard and quite cold. so i think i won't be bringing that anymore.

camp

ello' everyone. i've finally updated since my camp. :D haha. camp was quite good. 4 days 3 nights. it was at woodman recreational point or something.

day 1- started about 4 pm. everyone arrived late and i found out that no one from my room was there. it was only 2 other people. and i thought that they were not coming until the next day. but thank God they came at night. quite late i must say. hehe. then day 2 had games. quite fun. my group was group 1 and i kept shouting "go group one" to each of the groups i passed. haha. it was so fun. day 3- had 'games'. but actually we were all blindfolded in the beginning. and one by one they took us out of the holding place and we somehow experience Jesus crucification. and at the end we watch "the passion of christ" and it was touching. then at night was the best part. we sang and jumped non-stop. like after the sermon. it was until about 12 plus when we left that room. so fun. and that night i slept around 4.30 am. cause there were a lot of people in my dorm room. then we went to prank the boys' dorms. ahahaha. that was real fun. but i was tired and so i slept after i think the first part. haha. day 4- had 'service' in hte morning after breakfast. but before that we had to pack everything and make theplace 'clean'. haha.

then auntie chin chin came and fetched me with her son and another guy home. but in the end i went to he house to have lunch and stayed there until my dad came to fetch me which was about nearly 6pm. we played payday. which was a failure. and then watched hortom hears a who. then played this cool ball game (which i invented) until my dad came. which i think is better tham staying at home and having to cook my own lunch. hehe.

anyways. the first week of school has already passed and i'm finally oing to a birthday party tonight. it's like a dress upparty but no one i know is dressing up. so. i decided to dress likea waitress. like the one in coffee prince. haha. can't wait to go. and so long people.

hehe. tracy... i already wear specs. just that i wear contacts. *dots* anyways. having camp on tuesday. all packed up for camp. but the weather report said that during the camp days going to be raining... so sad. so the only thing that i can do is pray for good weather. and i believe that if everyone going to camp prays for good weather. then it will be okay. xD

today woke up at like 6.30am to go to church cause i'm on duty for the children's ministry in my church. i play the drums. and it really sucked... cause i'm not really good so. ya. sucked. and sucked. and sucked. now i'm so tired. going to sleep after this. goodnight. sleep tight. don't let the bed bugs bite. (which i think are actually sand flies or mosquitoes :D)

i'm officially counting down to my youth camp. :D it's on the 15 july - 18 july. it's going to be soo fun. it's my first time going to my church's youth camp. and they say it's the same place. just hope it will be good. and everyone will have fun. :D now it's the start of my holidays. and i just walked to the library in the morning. quite far. it's like from crescent to tanglin. but i think it's a bit further. went to library to do some community service. but dumb place say i have to call some lady to book the time... so wasted my 2 hours there. (including time taken to go and come back) i'll call her later in the day to do community service tomorrow or something.

hihi everyone. just received regina's and tracy's letter today. :D and i received jou teng and qiao chu's letter quite a while ago. i haven't started writing anyone's letter. but i will write it during the weekend. cause by then it would be HOLIDAYS!! yay. but it's only 2 weeks. unlike singapore... 1 month. anyways. i need to choose my subjects for next year by this friday or i'm doomed. i have already decided to take english, double maths, physics, chemistry and accounts. but i still need 2 more for the reserves. maybe i'll take something like human bio and chinese or health. but still need to think about it and discuss it with my parents. did some ardening today too. and cut my finger while cutting the dead roses. so many thorns that i stopped cutting after 30 minutes. haha.

hi everyone. just got my year 11 2009 curriculum handbook yesterday. haha. need to choose 8 subjects for next year. but only take 6, and the other 2 is reserve subjects. maybe i'm going to take english, double maths, physics, chemistry and chinese as the first 6 then accountant and history for the reserves. haha. that's what i MIGHT put in as my choice. :D then i just went to buy food before eating dinner at about 8pm. ate yong tau foo and chickenrice. it was very nice. hehe. eat until i'm full.

hihi everyone. someone asked me to update. so now i'm updating it. :D anyways. 2 more weeks to end of term 2. and it's holidays. too bad it's only 2 weeks. during that 2 weeks i'll be going to youth camp. called UNVEILED. sounds kind of cool. and everyone say it's fun. so how can i not go?? hehe. now i'm addicted to watching this korean drama (i think) called devil beside you. haha. going to watch finish soon. cause i watch it everyday. xD i still don't have my english results back... teacher said that a the results are not too good. so i might have failed. so sad. somemore the english here is like learning literature. i'm so going to fail. hate literature.:D

aiyo. sorry i change here and there. it's not my fault my mum's reading my blog. well, actually it is. but. nevermind. anyways. just got back my s&e (society and enviroment) exam back today. guess what. i got 44/50. which is the top of the class. i must really thank God for this one. number 1, i wasn't even in australia when they taught this topic and i don't even know who to write their kind of essay. it's different from singapore geography/ history essays. i'm just so bleesed that i can't contain it. :D must share with everyone the good news. :D

*sigh. exams are over!!! and it's time for fun. in australia, every time is for fun. haha. had english and society&enviroment last last wednesday and thursday. then. i had maths last thusday. and science. today. total bullcrap. i thought the retake was tomorrow. so i studied a little on saturday. then when the teacher told me it was today.waa. so angry. i wasn't prepared for it... but thank GOD. He helped me remember much things. if i just pass, i'm happy already. and for maths right, quite easy. hope can get 85/90. hoping. then. english was soso. s&e was soso. both can pass. hope all can pass. better, with good marks too. :D

hello everyone. today is friday. and my school has holiday. but the year 11 (16) and year 12 (17) have exams or something. if i'm right. :D although it's holidays, i woke up the same time as i usually do. cause sleep to much. then i cleaned the house. after watching 'bratz' on tele. it's the cartoon bratz. haha. i swept the tile floors, including the toliet. and also mopped all of them too. :D maybe can start a business already. haha. now hands all tired. and i still have half a day to go. somemore today i have youth. at night. and i cannot take naps. or else i can't sleep at night. so how? play computer. haha. i'm watching 'made of honour' and internet. hope it's nice or i'll just be wasting my time.

hi everyone. welcome back to singapore (although i'm not in singapore) if you went to OBS!! it's like the thing everyone's talking about... seems like i've missed it. but so what. it's tiring and dirty and you still have o' levels. haha. anyways. next 2 weeks is so called my 'exams'. but it's only 4 subjects (english, maths, science, s&e) and they are all spread out in 2 weeks. haha. hope can score as well as i did in singapore. and i had a science test today and i thought it was tomorrow. and what's worst was that i had science the first 2 periods of the day... so 'studied' in the morning before the bell rang. then went to class. took the test. and i think i can pass. but not get full marks. hope i'm not the last one in class. hehe.

hello all. well. this post is for HOE MING XUAN. who asked me to update my blog. so to be Courteous, Generous and Sincere, i have decided to update my blog. :D don't know what to write. hmm. still thinking. okay. let me tell you about my week. although it's not over yet. but soon. so monday was still a holiday. then tuesday went to school. bad day cause new science teacher which is indian which i don't like. then also took the wrong bus go home. was stranded and uncle mike came and fetch me. wednesday go to school again. see that science teacher again. but not so unhappy. also had maths test. angry cause a lot of people cheated which i didn't do. then thursday went to school again. which was today and see the science teacher again. felt happier. don't know why. maybe because going to the end of the week and tomorrow not going to see her. and that's all for my 'week'.

hihi everyone. hope your having fun with all your tests an exams. haha. well... all the best for all your tests. i am currently having the last week of my school holidays (2 weeks) and i feel so sad cause holidays are goin to be over. and my homework is almost done. it's very easy. only for childcare and desktop publishing. (both very slack one) hehe.

went to the ikea here. and it is soo much bigger than singapore's queenstown that one. walk until tired and had my lunch there. you know that here they don't sell chicken wings!!! my dad said it was because that ang mohs don't know how to eat chicken wings. haha. then the meatballs here are so puny. aiyo. waste my money and that... so we bought 2 shoe racks (wooden), a clothes organiser and 2 clocks. all cheap ones. hehe.

hi everyone. easter has just passed and i've recieved some really cute gifts. haha. and the thing is, that the gift is in singapore. not australia. cause my church friends in singapore gave it to my mum. thanks for the really cute gifts: BETHEA, HAZEL, SHERRILL. hello everyone. and let me answer your normal questions. like how's life in australia. haha. well. life's good in australia. the weather's good too. cold in the mornings and nights. then in the afternoon like super hot. like today. so hot. maybe cause i was wearing black. haha. anyways. i went like shopping at this shopping centre which i think is bigger than vivocity. then i wanted to buy things. but on budget now. so did not buy anything. then ate subway for lunch. shared a foot long sandwitch with my dad. haha. the picture of me was quite a while back. just took it for fun. haha. the car quite old. it's manual and very hard to drive. i really admire those who can drive a manual car. very tough you know. bye.

common test week 1

hihi. haha. just had common tests like these 2 days. 1 day was english & chinese. then during chinese we were seated like chinese then higher chinese(cause they too tall so they take higher chinese) then tamil and malay. then the teacher was collecting the papers and asked the higher chinese people to raise their hands. so i went to "stretch" my hand and he walked over to my group there and saw that no one was raising their hands so he walked to the other side of the classromm to collect the higher chinese papers. i thought that was really funny. haha. then today i took ss, then chemistry and geography. i thought it was okay. but i really must thank God for His help today. my hand just kept writing and writing. then the points in my head kept coming and coming. this shows the power of prayers. and some more i went shopping at IMM yesterday night. but i really did study. haha.

hihi all. did you have fun collecting all the chocolates and sweets during valentine's day? haha. well i had collected a lot. and ate most of them on the dat itself. thats why there is not many goodies left in the picture. and you see the cute bear in the photo? it was given by my classmates. its rally expensive from what i heard so thank you so much. thank you GREALDINE, HUI CHEE, QUEENIE, LIMIN, LETTY. i love the cute shoes on the bear. haha. that day, i also went to buy some sweets to return those who gave me sweets and goodies and pretty gifts and cards. thanks so much. haha. and again. all the best to all those taking common tests including me. haha.

hihi people. today i had like social study test. and i like didn't really study much. haha. was sleeping during the free period. thank God there was no one taking photos of me sleeping. haha. anyways. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEILING. mandy gave her this cute message with sweets (in the photo) i think it's super cute and delicious. haha. i ate away the "to" after taking this photo. hihi people. lol. its going to the weekends. homework is starting to pile up. and tests are coming soon. just got back my maths test. very lousy. like 11 over 20 marks. then school must buy all the files. and more files pay more money. haha. then my school sport's carnival like so lousy. cause all the track events like lesser than 400m. very irritating. i don't like. have like 8 x 50 m. like whats that. get the baton then must pass again. aiyo. lol. and i tell you to watch amrican idol. very funny. for my lamo friends, pls watch. every wednesday & thursday at 8pm on channel 5. haha.

hey people. more info about the singing thing. "its not a performance" but it is something like leading worship. quite cool right. i found out that i sing soprano. but i sing like the melody. haha. its on the 23 december07. at cogs, behind the old queeenstown police centre. come if you want. but please inform me first. and i'm performing a dance with my youth group. my sister says its easy. but oh well. i can't dance. haha. not like qioa chu. haha. now having marking break. this is the second out of 2 days. so that means have to go back to school tomorrow. so sad. but we're going to atch movies. blah. blah. blah. okay. i'm oing to play audition liao. bye!!
